What: Gynae and uro-gynae outpatients physiotherapy service. Physiotherapy service also on inpatient gynacology wards, which includes seeing patients after hysterectomy, pelvic organ prolapse repair, bilateral salpingo oophorectomy (BSO) surgeries for cancer diagnoses.

Where: Maternity Department, University Hospital Galway and Merlin Galway.

For who: Anyone under gynaecologist/ uro- gynaecologist in UCHG or post gynae cancer treatment.

Cost: No cost – hospital service.

How: Referral from inpatient gynaecologist/ uro-gynecologist consultant, registrar or clinical nurse specialist.
