PINC and STEEL programmes, Pura Vida Physio, Limerick
What: 10-week cancer rehabilitation programmes from specialist physiotherapist, aiming to improve strength, flexibility and stamina after cancer treatment. Can help manage side effects of cancer including fatigue, lymphoedema, pain, sleep difficulties, low mood, joint pain.
Class format is one hour exercise class involving yoga, pilates, cardio-step routine and guided relaxation. A recording of the class is available weekly to enable at-home training in between classes. Weekly educational handout provided.
Clare Kelly is a Chartered Physiotherapist with PINC & STEEL cancer rehabilitation training, she is a Pilates and Yoga instructor and OTAGO leader.

For who: For anyone who has completed active cancer treatment. Also, services delivered to women living with secondary cancer

How: Clients can self-refer and register at www.puravidaphysio.com. Referrals also accepted by GPs, consultants, AHPs and MLD therapists.
Before commencing programmes, a medical approval form signed by GP or oncologist and one-to-one pre-class screening is required.
