Specialist Lymphoedema Clinic, Co. Clare 

What: A specialist, tailored lymphoedema service to address the individual needs of oncology patients. Offers lymphoedema assessment, treatment and supported self-care. This multi-disciplinary clinic is led by a clinical nurse specialist and a physiotherapist with specialist training in lymphoedema management, and cancer rehabilitation (Pinc & Steel, CanRehab). The clinic is run by HSE Mid West Community Healthcare.

For who: People living with lymphoedema in Clare 

Cost: No charge to attend. If the individual has no medical card, there is a charge for compression garments. 

How: Referral is required from GP, oncologist, public health nurse or allied health professional.
