Pura Vida Physio – PINC Pilates
What : Pilates group exercise class, led by specialist physiotherapist and Pilates instructor. 6 or 8 week term of weekly hour-long classes. Classes are delivered in-person or online.
One-to-one Pilates classes available also. Pilates classes can help manage side effects of cancer including weakness, fatigue, pain, poor bone density and poor flexibility.
PINC Pilates include exercises which address shoulder and mid-back tightness after breast cancer treatment. Mobility and stability exercises help improve flexibility and bone density.
Clare Kelly is a Chartered Physiotherapist with PINC & STEEL cancer rehabilitation training, she is a Pilates and Yoga instructor and OTAGO leader.
Where: Unit 7, Ballycummin Village, Raheen, Co. Limerick. Online class also available.
For who: For women during and after cancer treatment, women in surgical menopause, menopausal women. Suitable for people with cancer but delivered as a non-cancer specific class.
Cost: Classes in Limerick €90 for 6-week term. Online classes €100 for 8-week term. One to one Clinical Pilates €60 for 1 hour session

Anyone currently undergoing active cancer treatment will require medical approval to participate. Medical approval form will be sent by email after registration.
Referrals accepted from GPs, oncologists, consultants, AHPs, cancer support centres and MLD therapists
