Physiotherapy in Haematology and Oncology service at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

What: Specialist oncology and haematology physiotherapy service, including lymphoedema management service. A team of specialist physiotherapists work with people with cancer at any stage of their cancer care & after treatment. Treatment can include exercise prescription to improve strength, balance and independence, and support with managing symptoms such as breathlessness or fatigue.

Lymphoedema management physiotherapy provides information and education, an early identification service, treatment and surveillance care.

Where: Physiotherapy department, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda

For who: People who received or are undergoing treatment for cancer in Our Lady of Lourdes hospital or those on the catchment area of Louth, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan and North Dublin.

Cost: No cost

How: Referral from your consultant, clinical nurse specialist, advanced nurse practitioner, physiotherapist
