ExWell Medical, Tullamore

What: Community-based supervised exercise classes, home-based programmes and online classes for people with long term illness, including cancer. Classes encourage participants to become fit and active in a friendly, safe and enjoyable environment. An induction with one of ExWell’s doctors takes place following referral from your GP, Hospital Consultant or other Health Care Professional.

ExWell Medical is a not-for profit company that has over 1,200 patient visits per week, with strong connections with local hospital physicians and GPs.

Where: St Mary’s Community/Youth Centre, 2 Harbour St, Co. Offaly

For who: For people with cancer and other long-term illnesses. Suitable for people of all abilities.

Cost: €60 monthly for 8 classes a month. €40 monthly for 4 classes a month. Some centres are HSE funded or part funded (meaning participants do not pay the full fees required).
