Cancer Rehabilitation Class, Sligo University Hospital
What: Four-week physiotherapy-led cancer survivor exercise group programme. Sessions are one hour a week for four weeks, consisting of 30 mins exercise and 30 mins education. This programme can help manage side effects of cancer including weakness, low fitness, fatigue, lymphoedema, breathlessness, poor balance, pain, incontinence and low mood. The programme can support attendees to return to community fitness activities and other goals, such as return to work.
Programme is delivered by a Physiotherapist with specialist training from CanRehab.
