South East Palliative Care Physiotherapy

What: The physiotherapy team at South East Palliative Care Centre offer rehabilitation advice, exercise prescription and symptom management strategies for clients with a Palliative Care diagnosis. They can support clients with symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, breathlessness, loss of balance and pain. The specialist physiotherapists have additional training in working with people with cancer and in a palliative care setting.

For who: This physiotherapy service is for clients with a Palliative care condition under the care of the SEPC service.

How: Referrals are received from Palliative Medicine Consultants, Doctors, GPs, PHNs and Allied health team members
